MARÉIRE Grants: an overview of the projects we have funded so far.

Since late 2024, the MARÉIRE project has identified knowledge gaps around the topic of offshore renewable energy development and marine environmental protection. As a result, we have funded a number of research projects through Small Research and Postgraduate Grant calls and Tender invitations. Here, we present an overview of those projects to date, the investigators carrying out the work and the project partners involved, highlighting the capacity-building aspect of our work through the encouragement of a collaborative approach to research. Most of these projects are in progress, outputs from the projects will be made available through the Resources page.
